Equestrian Therapy Programs Could be Coming to ECR!

The owners of El Camino Ranch share a passion, this passion is seen throughout the community of The Ranch. The love for dogs, horses and people shines brightly in every corner of The Ranch. Theresa and Ken, the proud owners, wish to expand on this passion and develop an Equestrian Therapy Program contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well being of people with disabilities in the Redlands and Inland Empire Area. We would like to offer therapeutic horseback riding programs that provide benefits in the areas of therapy, education, sport and recreation and leisure to persons with disabilities and also equine-assisted services to our military veterans through The Equine Services for Heroes Program and providing a unique and fun way to heal.

"Equestrian therapy is a form of therapy that makes use of horses to help promote emotional growth. Equestrian therapy is particularly applied to patients with ADD, anxiety, autism, dementia, delay in mental development, down syndrome and other genetic syndromes, depression, trauma and brain injuries, behavior and abuse issues and other mental health issues."

We are very excited to be planning this as a way to provide a service to the community and to help people who might be in need.
